BBG-Girl’s Spa-Tea for one…

Set the music with a classical flare and fill the air with essential oils such as lavender or refreshing tangerine---a combo blend can be by Jurlique (Wise-Woman blend) or make your own.

The following ingredients will rebuild skin collagen, improve tone and texture, and fade age spots. Packed with vitamins, minerals and nutrients that will “feed” your skin.
· ½ avocado, mashed
· ½ carrot, cooked and mashed
· 1/4 cup heavy cream
· 1 small egg, beaten
· 3 tablespoons honey
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Spread gently (I use a foundation or fan brush) over your face and neck, and leave in place 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and follow with your favorite toner.
While skin is warm and damp—take a few drops of honey and press into skin, believe me it is not sticky at all and you will love how your skin feels after it dries.
DIY Toner
Brew some green tea (with spring water) keep one cup for your tea-4-one (serve with fresh mint) ---and the other cup-allow to cool and store in an airtight spray container. Keep in the fridge and spray when you need a refreshing blast of energy.

Good for one— Almond-Veggie Tea sandwich

2 slices Ezekiel or Millet bread crusts removed
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
5 cherry tomatoes
4 3 inch length (thinly sliced) cucumber
1/4 cup sprouts, tightly packed

Cut each slice of bread into quarters and then divide spread on almond butter. Slice cherry tomatoes thinly. Peel cucumber; then use a vegetable peeler or mandolin to slice it lengthwise into long, wide, very thin strips place on top of tomatoes. Pile the sprouts on, top finger sandwiches with remaining bread quarters, and you have a “spa-tea” party for one.

Top the- me-myself and I party with a healthy dessert…

Peach-berry smoothie

1 ½ cups enriched vanilla unsweetened Almond milk
2 cups fresh peaches
1 cup fresh blackberries

5 ice cubes of vanilla almond milk (ice the milk in a tray the day before)
2 tablespoons raw almond butter
2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar

Place smoothie in a sundae glass, serve it up with a sprig of mint…

End with a devotional and be grateful for everyday—each day is a gift.

Blessings & Hugs,

~Shelly
